When Carrie Kramer, her husband Terry and their three children moved into their new home in Westerville, they certainly never intended to stay, but a renovation-including a gorgeous bathroom remodel-made them change their minds.
“We felt in our initial discussions with Dave Fox that they understood the high-end finishes we were looking for,” says Carrie of their decision to work with that remodeling company. “We weren’t just remodeling to put in run-of-the-mill features. We wanted different and unique and that’s what we got.”
Dave Fox built a beautiful custom barn door with a more refined look for the transition to the master bath, which before the remodel had been a dinette area.
The soothing color choices and high-end fixtures are the perfect balance of luxury and function. A Victoria + Albert® English cast tub sits on Crossville porcelain heated tiles.
The expansive shower showcases Carrara Marble tiles and fixtures artfully arranged in an aesthetically pleasing formation. Niches for soaps and other effects are hidden behind a waist-high wall topped with sparkling glass.
The Kohler undermount sink gives the countertop a clean look, matching the rest of the bathroom design.
“The most difficult elements to design tend to be the smallest details,” says Courtney Burnett, CKD, interior design manager with Dave Fox. “When you’re taking on a project of this size, it can be overwhelming, however good planning beforehand makes the project run smoothly.”
